The Mercer hotel has a great location close to many attractions, & is 10 minutes walk from Temple Bar. This is a good option for those who want to escape the bustle of the Temple Bar, yet without being too far away. The Mercer Hotel is a lovely small property, offering a modern and warm atmosphere. The reception area is brightly appointed with wooden floors and a wooden, marble-topped reception desk. On the right, you will find the entrance of the lounge area, tastefully decorated in a modern style, with some white and red leather/wooden armchairs.
The hotel contains 41 medium sized guestrooms, including 10 smoking rooms. There are triple rooms, but these are composed of a double and a single bed. There are no family rooms, but there are some inter-connecting rooms. There is also one disabled room.
All the rooms are decorated in a classical style, with traditional furniture and carpets. Each of them is en-suite, air-conditioned and fully equipped with modern amenities such as CD player, television, video recorder and WIFI Internet access. The rooms also feature a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and direct dial telephone.
Cusack’s Restaurant features modern décor and offers a relaxing atmosphere with soft leather furnishings, wooden floors and bright colours. It serves an eclectic cuisine, accompanied by a wide variety of drinks, from world wines to speciality coffees. It is open for breakfast from 7.30 am to 10.00am; lunch from 12.30pm to 2.30pm; dinner from 6.00pm to 9.30pm (closed Sunday.) It also offers an “Early Bird” menu from 6.30pm to 7.00 pm.
