The hotel boasts a prime location, only 2 minutes walk from Temple bar & most attractions. There are 70 guestrooms which vary in size, though in general feedback has not been too positive. This would be a better choice for those looking for simple cheap accommodation with a great location.
The Central Hotel is a corner property with a traditional Georgian facade. The spacious, welcoming lobby is decorated with green carpets, golden chandeliers and golden mirrors, but offers only a small seating area. There's a connecting door leading to the hotel's refurbished Irish Bar and, on the right side of the reception desk, a staircase leading to the Library Bar, which is cozy and peaceful. This is a lovely hotel, with a traditional and charming atmosphere, established in 1887.
