Our Review

The brand new Dublin Generator Hostel opens in July 2011. The hostel provides safe, convenient, highly affordable, clean and comfortable budget accommodation. Rooms include ensuite facilities and feature individual power sockets on the beds, seating area, personal reading lights, handbasin and mirror. Generator Hostels were voted best budget accommodation of the year 2009, best youth product 2009 and UK Hostel of the year!

Located right on Smithfield Square, in central Dublin, right next door to the Old Jameson Distillery -one of the most popular attractions in Dublin! The hostel is within walking distance to many other popular attractions, like the Guiness Brewery and the Spire of Dublin.

Smithfield Tram Stop is only two minutes walk from the hostels front door, putting them on the main central tram line of Dublin. It connects to Conolly Train Station as well, giving access to the rest of Ireland, including the bus service to the Airport.
