Our Review

This centrally located family-run hotel is within walking distance of the Temple Bar & the city's attractions. Housed in a traditional building, the hotel has been updated yet retained many traditional features. The rooms are simply furnished & decorated. There have been comments on noise levels, therefore this hotel would suit those who want simple budget accommodation with a bustling location.

The hotel contains a total of 46 medium sized guestrooms. Each guestroom is en-suite, individually decorated and has a direct dial telephone, Internet acess, TV and tea and coffee maker. The rooms are carpeted and most of them have a sofa. Unfortunately, this hotel does not have any disabled rooms.

     Our room, 111, was on the front of hotel and a lot of noise was heard from the street making it difficult to sleep. ...             clean room....             I had a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet...             they changed our room for us at the back of the hotel which was much quieter...             double glazed windows didn't shut properly). ...             room which we were put in had NO soundproofing...             Room was ok, but needed some fixing in the Toilet...             Room also had somewhat of a moldy odor, but it was clean....             As an old building there were problems with noise...             great deal of noise from the street below ...             Not much storage space for clothing ...
