O Connell St Hotels
One of Europe's widest streets, O'Connell Street is Dublin's main thoroughfare, leading from the River Liffey up to Parnell Square. Named after the 19th century nationalist leader Daniel O’Connell, it is crammed with excellent shops and is also home to the symbol of 21st century Dublin: a striking, 120-metre tall shard of brushed-stainless-steel called the Millennium Spire.
