The room we were given was the size of a shoe box and was directly next to the train track. The room was boiling hot but we did not want to open the windows as the noise of the passing trains every couple of mins was really loud!! Had a much nicer room last time we stayed at this hotel 4 years ago.

This hotel is of quite a good standard, although it is about 20 mins from temple bar the walk enables you to take in the sights.

We enjoyed our stay at the North Star Hotel.
Staff were always courteous and helpful.
Excellent room service.
Delicious breakfast.
The only negative thing about our stay was the main road which could get a bit noisy with the traffic, other than that our stay was perfect.

on going into the hotel there was a container catching water that was coming throught the celling also if you go to stay in room 122 dont this room is the size of a storage cupboard.I had to climb over my husband to get out of bed it was so small not the size it showed on the internet. My window didnt open and was covered by dirty net curtains. The sink in the bathroom leaked very time we used it and had no airconditioning no iron and 2 tv stations dosnt make cable tv.Every time a train passed ie every 10mins the whole room shook.I saw the restraunt staff water down the fresh orange juice in the breakfast room. In short this hotel is terribe and wouldnt send my dog there for a week never mind a person
