Very good hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean but lacking a mirror other than in bathroom. Very conveniently located just across the river from Temple Bar.

The breakfast's could be hotter and freshened up, as we found if we had breakfast at 9.30 a few things would be fairly dry(hash browns) or hard(fried eggs) whereas at 8.30 they were great.

The gaol was a worthwhile visit, the city bus tour a waste of time because of the traffic, not enough bus lanes, although a couple of the drivers made it worthwhile!

Most guides states that the hotel has a spa, but in actual fact, it does not open until March 2007

Dublin is a wonderful short break destination, perfect for enthusiasts of the arts and architecture. A visit to the Guiness storehouse is a must, even if just to see the whole city from the bar on the 7th Floor.
Locals are charming and welcome all visitors

The hotel was extremely good - but a few little details such as ripped chair covers and peeling bath panels - just took the edge off things and made the overall rating good rather than excellent!

Go to Grafton Street for shopping - shops are much better.
Also go on one of the bus tours around Dublin - I know it sounds cheesy - but they are the best way to see everything and gain info about he place that you won't find in the guide books.
