they certainly didnt say it on their web page or in the documentation I printed off tht I was staying in student accomodation. The room was very basic (minus the fridge we were told we were getting) and cold to start off with. The breakfast was disorganised chaos with five members of staff standing around a toaster while we ran out of cutlery, glasses, cereal etc.

The shower leaked all over the room (which was not a hotel room but student accomodation) In turn this lead to a mouldy smell permiating everything.
This is a good 'hotel' for location, although it should be mentioned that this is student accomodation and if you want to stay in a hotel this is probably not the place for you. Very expensive and very basic.

Basic accommodation which is used by students during term time. No room facilities apart from TV. Over priced for the standard of accommodation provided.
Saving grace is the location which is perfect for Grafton St., St.Stephens Green , shopping centre , and Temple Bar. All within 5 minutes walk. Next time would book Mercer Hotel just up street. Slightly dearer but better accommodation.
Top Tip
Perfect location for local amenities, bars, etc. Cafe scene is more catered for than traditional restaurants, but lots of choice.

we were disappointed that the hotel did not offer tea/coffee making facilities in the room. They had tea/coffee containers just off reception, but the water was luke warm and not what we expected. One of our prime reason for booking this hotel was that it offered slightly more for the price - we would not recommend this hotel to friends.

Breakfast is very basic (but if that's all you want you're fine!). We were on the second floor and the room seemed to be a noise trap (the only way we could sleep at night was by wearing ear plugs).

Temple Bar is great to visit at night. Don't miss the Brazen Head pub (nearby Christchurch cathedral), the food and drink is very reasonably priced, good atmosphere. Go on the DART north and south just outside of Dublin - within 40 mins you can be at Howth harbour or on the beach in Killiney. St Ann's church is well worth a visit and if you feel you're a hopeless cause get a blessing from St Jude at Whitefriar Street Carmelite church (st Valentines shrine is also there).
