Staff all eastern Europeans but could speak English and had fantastic memories, no wrong orders here. Disappointed no potato bread or soda bread with breakfast, only toast - isn't that an English breakfast, not "full Irish" as published? No minibar (probably a good thing for your bank balance!) and no safe in your room, only deposit box at reception. Adjoining car park good value at 12.80E for 24 hours as long as you get your ticket validated at Reception. Pillows a bit flat, but extras available. Vending machines on every floor, but each different ie drinks on 1, crisps & sweets on 2 etc. Clean enough, but bed covers getting a bit shabby through plenty of washing! Hotel bar good for food.

Taxi to Temple Bar approx 6E or 10 min walk brisk pace.

You must try the Mongolian Barbeque restaurant it is fantastic bit expensive but well worth a visit

The room was realy cold the first night so the staff provided heaps of bankets and fixed the heating!! realy friendly and helpful!!

Watch out for the taxis.... they are expensive and will take you round the reekin if you don't know where you are going! temple bar is defo the place for tourists, its expensive, about £4 a pint. loads of places to eat and good shops. locals go to other bars which are also really good and not as expensive, they are still central so within walking distance! Had an awesome time!!!

Very well situated for access to airport bus, trams and station. Within easy walking distance of shops and visitor attractions.

Top Tip

The new dock side developments close to the hotel offer some quality shopping opportunities and very good restaurant. Nearby pub, The Harbourmaster, has a real buzz about it in the evening with largely young, professionals from adjacent financial district - good, reasonably priced pub food.

After booking this hotel (which I have stayed at before) I checked online reviews which wee very poor. It is a very nice hotel, the rooms are clean and perfectly adequate and the breakfast is excellent! Don't believe the poor reviews.

Top Tip

Watch the taxi drivers. They are very sociable and helpful, but the same short journey to and from the hotel varied from 8 Euro to 13 Euro!!! Also, get a price for the trip back to the airport when you order the cab - we were well and truly ripped off!
