There was some debate about the rate I should pay, as I had booked an executive room through you, and they "upgraded" us to a smaller room with inferior facilities because they had "run out" of such rooms. We checked in at 4 on Sunday; does this sound fishy to you? I also spotted that they had an offer during August through their website, for champagne and strawberries on arrival, but I could not get on their website when booking, hence coming to you. I was told that the rate I was getting through you would "not have made giving us the C&S viable" and anyway it was a web booking offer through their asite so we just let it drop. It is a super hotel though, with lots of nice touches and top service. Best to get business to pay, or keep it for impressing someone really special.
Top Tip
Walk to Gogarty's for excellent traditional Irish music, food and entertainment 7 days a week. Try La Caprice Italian restaurant between the hotel and Temple Bar, good value, and not too pricey. Also the Brazen Head, Dublin's oldest Pub.
