The hotel is situated in the heart of the Temple Bar area, just opposite the Hard Rock Cafe and close to plenty of traditional Irish pubs. The area is always lively and full of people. Connolly Station is 10 minutes' walk from the Hotel, while Grafton Street is 4 minutes away on foot. O'Connell Street is also just 10 minutes' walk away. Dublin Airport is 11 kilometres from the hotel and the taxi fare is usually 20 to 30 Euro.

It is therefore better avoided by travelers who are looking for tranquility and don't like the crowds. The lobby is small but bright with a compact seating area. Situated to the immediate left of the entrance, there's the “VAT House” Bar. Just before you enter the bar there's a lift and stairs, which will take you to the bedrooms. A hot and cold Breakfast is served buffet-style from 7.30 am till 11.00 am. There's a public car park located on Fleet Street. The cost is usually 13 Euro for 24 hours.
