The hotel was in a great location. The bar was lively, yet you could still have peace and quiet in your room. You couldn't hear any noise in the rooms. The Irish music and dancing were excellent.
Top Tip
Get the airport bus and tour bus ticket for 25 Euros. It's great value and the bus tour is well worth doing.

Really nice lively hotel, ideally situated in the centre of everything with great facilities. Rooms were very spacious, clean and recently decorated. Breakfast was good as well and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
We had the set evening meal to watch the entertainment one evening but although it was ok, wouldn't do that again. Would have been just as good (and cheaper)to stand at the bar and watch instead.
Going on a girlie weekend we were up until the early hours most nights, and didnt mind that the music was playing loudly (you could hear it on the third floor)until midnight when it moved down to the basement, but that could irritate some people.
Everyone in the party has said that they would definitely stay here again, and between us we have been to 5 other hotels around O'Connell st in the past and all agree this is the best.

The Arlington basement nightclub is free entry to residents between 11.30 and midnight. They stamp your hand and you can then come and go as you please, walking past the queues to get in. We tended to start in Temple Bar early evening and end up back in the hotel bar before 11.30 for the free stamp to nightclub.

The yes above is warranted because of location. Your Bistro was quite disappointing having to send one meal back because it was undercooked and by the time we had a replacement one of us had finished eating. No apology was forthcoming and a birthday meal was spoiled .
Top Tip
Stay at the Arlington but eat out at local restaurants which are superior and no more expensive.

Had a great weekend, hotel, food, service, entertainment very good. Could have done with a safe in the room, especially when you need to store passports, cards and cash etc.
The biggest disappointment for all of us as a group of 12, 6 x couples. Was that one couple were ousted at short notice. We did explain that the weekend was a double birthday celebration and one of those birthdays was half of the ejected couple. Out of the booking agency and the Arlington, neither would accept responsibility. Just saying that the hotel was overbooked. The alternative accommodation provided was extremely good and a few minutes walk away but it meant that we were often separated and had to keep phoning each other, arranging times and places to meet, just caused a lot of wasted time hanging around on such a short weekend.

Must dos; Temple Bar, The Oliver St. John Gogarty Pub, The Viking Splash Tour, The Kilmainham Gaol and the cherry on the cake, Johnnie Foxes in the Dublin mountains for a great hooley!!!

There was too many stairs to get to our room. And the rooms could do with a makeover.
